As more consumers are shopping online instead of visiting a physical store, Walmart is adjusting their retail strategy and reinforcing the online presence by transforming 4 physical stores into e-commerce laboratory platforms.
The new strategy will emphasize on new technologies for the staff with smart fulfillment applications and augmented reality tools that will ease the supply and get the products faster to the buyers.
The new e-commerce strategy will focus on diversifying the products online as many products still not available on the e-commerce platform. The main target is to get all products faster and quicker to buyer by enhancing the online shopping experience.
